What is the difference between EN ISO 20471 Class 2 and Class 3?
Class 2 is the medium level of high-visibility protection and is sufficient for most construction and road work. Class 3 provides more fluorescent area and reflective material and is required for high-risk environments with very fast traffic, such as on motorways. The T180 meets Class 2 as a standalone garment.
What is the loop on the placket for?
The small loop on the placket is a practical everyday detail: glasses, pens or other small items can be attached to it, making them always within reach. Particularly useful for employees who frequently switch between writing, reading and physical work.
Which colour is covered by the RIS 3279-TOM rail standard?
The British rail standard RIS 3279-TOM ISSUE 1 applies exclusively to the orange variants (orange/black and orange/navy). The yellow variants are not certified for this specific application. Please select the correct colour when ordering if this standard is required.
What does "moisture-wicking fabric" mean?
The cotton-polyester blend fabric with 45% polyester actively wicks sweat away from the body to the outside, where it can evaporate more quickly. This keeps the skin cooler and drier – ideal for physically demanding work, especially in summer or warm environments.
How is the T180 washed?
Machine wash according to manufacturer's instructions. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners – these can impair the luminosity of the high-visibility colour, the reflective strips and the moisture-wicking properties of the fabric. With correct care, all properties will be permanently retained.
