100% Polyester twill, TPU membrane and microfleece processed into one composite: windproof, water-repellent (3000 mm water column) and breathable. High wearing comfort without the stiffness of classic rain jackets.

Removable Quilted Lining

The removable inner lining (100% polyester, approx. 200 g/m²) makes the VW68VBY an all-weather vest: with lining for cold and wind, without lining as a light high-visibility vest for milder temperatures or demanding physical work.

EN ISO 20471 Class 2 & RIS-3279-TOM

Certified according to EN ISO 20471:2013+A1:2016 Class 2 and RIS-3279-TOM for railway operations (orange only). Segmented reflective strips: 2 × 5 cm circumferentially on the torso, 1 × 5 cm on the shoulders – optimal all-round visibility.

ID Pocket & Cell Phone Pocket

The removable inner pocket with ID window allows quick access to ID/cards. The integrated cell phone pocket protects the smartphone and keeps it within reach – important details for professional daily work.

0.3 m² Printable Area

The Vizwell VW68 high-visibility softshell vest combines certified high-visibility with weather-resistant softshell comfort and functional details for professional use. The vest meets the requirements of EN ISO 20471 Class 2 and, thanks to RIS-3279-TOM certification (orange version), is ideal for work in railway and track areas.

The high-quality 3-layer softshell laminate with TPU membrane offers reliable protection against wind and cold and achieves a water column of 3000 mm. At the same time, the soft microfleece inner material ensures comfortable wear in changing weather conditions.

The removable quilted lining makes the vest particularly flexible, allowing it to be individually adapted depending on the temperature. This makes the VW68 suitable for cooler transitional days as well as for winter outdoor use.

The well-thought-out pocket concept offers maximum functionality in daily work. In addition to several zippered pockets, the vest has a removable ID pocket, spacious inner pockets, and an integrated cell phone pocket. The 3-layer softshell laminate with TPU membrane requires careful care to maintain its water repellency and windproofness. Remove the quilted lining before washing. Do not use fabric softeners – these damage the TPU membrane and impair the high-visibility effect.

What is a 3-layer softshell laminate?
A 3-layer laminate combines three layers into a single composite fabric: the outer polyester twill fabric (weather protection), a TPU membrane (windproof, water-resistant up to 3000 mm water column, breathable) and an inner microfleece (wearing comfort). In contrast to individually laid layers, the result is more dimensionally stable, less prone to creasing, and feels more premium.
How does the removable lining work?
The quilted lining (100% polyester, approx. 200 g/m²) is zipped into or out of the outer vest. With the lining, the vest offers good thermal insulation for cooler days. Without the lining, it becomes a light, flexible hi-vis vest – ideal for warmer days or physically demanding work. Both variants can also be worn separately.
Does the RIS-3279-TOM railway standard apply to both colours?
No – the railway standard RIS-3279-TOM applies exclusively to the hi-vis orange-navy version. The hi-vis yellow-navy version is not certified for this specific application. If you intend to use the VW68VBY in British railway operations, you must choose the orange variant.
What are segmented reflective strips?
Segmented reflective strips consist of individual segments instead of a continuous band. This allows for better freedom of movement in the upper body because the vest remains more flexible at the strip positions. The reflective effect according to EN ISO 20471 Class 2 is fully maintained – the segmentation meets all minimum area requirements of the standard.
How is the VW68 cleaned?
Machine wash gently at max. 30–40 °C. Remove quilted lining before washing. Do not use fabric softeners – these damage the TPU membrane and impair water repellency and warning protection. Do not bleach, do not dry clean, do not tumble dry. The water-repellent finish can be refreshed after washing by careful ironing (low heat).
Are printing and bulk discounts available?
